Seminar privacy notice

What we collect

• Your first name, last name and email address, given when you register.
• Whether your marketing consent box was ticked. It is separate from your seminar place and unticked by default.
• Whether your viewing link was opened, and when.
• Whether the seminar played, for how long, and whether it played to the end.
• Whether you clicked the booking button afterwards.
• Basic technical information while you watch: browser type and a one way scrambled form of your network address, used to spot the same device across a reconnect.

What that does and does not tell us

These figures describe playback activity in your browser. They record that the seminar was playing on your device. They are not a record of whether you were in front of the screen, and we do not present them as one.

Why we collect it

• To give you a viewing link that only works for you, and to let you back in if you lose it.
• To know who attended, so we can follow up sensibly rather than chasing people who never came.
• To improve how we run future seminars.

Who else is involved

• Cloudflare delivers the video. Your browser connects to their network to play it.
• Microsoft carries the emails we send you.
• GNL Solutions build and run the seminar system on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Detailed viewing records are deleted after 24 months, leaving only a summary of whether you attended. Your registration details are kept while you remain a contact of ours.

Cookies

The seminar pages set one cookie, which keeps you signed in to your own viewing link for the length of the event. There are no advertising or analytics cookies on these pages.

Your choices
